Get ready Hipstamatic fam, because on May 10 we unite across the world to take on the streets with a global #hipstawalk! It’s been far too long since we’ve organized a gathering of hipstographers to get out in the streets, collaborating and shooting beautiful photos, so we’ve got a big one planned!
Check out meetup.com/hipstamatic for your city’s #hipstawalk or to organize your own. Gather your friends and fellow photographers, and take to the streets!
The Hipstamatic team is getting in on the action too, so if you’re in San Francisco, join us! We’ll be out in full force with other Hipstographers for a day of urban exploring and shooting. We’ve planned ahead, and made sure this location will be full of amazing shots, and even a few surprises.
We’ll meet at 1pm in Dolores Park (20th and Church) to begin the San Francisco #hipstawalk. Once you start walking and snapping, share your photos with hashtag #hipstawalk.
Meet us afterwards at the Haus of Hipstamatic (74 Langton St) for the official #hipstawalk afterparty!

If you’re not able to join us in San Francisco - no problem! Organize your own May10 #hipstawalk at meetup.com/hipstamatic and follow these instructions:
-Set a time limit (1-2 hours is ideal)
-Pick a meeting place. Have you route planned so no one gets lost. As long as they know where to meet in the end, they can venture off for great shots.
-Gather and share. End the walk in a public space to critique and discuss. This teaches others useful techniques and broadens shooting skills. Bars or cafes provide a great place to get social.
-Plan for monthly #hipstawalks
**It’s ok to start as small or as big as you want, it’s all about having a great time, and meeting other Hipstographers in your area that love to shoot as much as you do!
